Ryggsäck i läder – The Good Earth

This is my second attempt to get a review published. I purchased this backpack about a year and a half ago, and in hindsight, the stitching quality is disappointing. None of the seams are double-stitched, not even in areas where the load and stress are known to be the highest.

I have now had to send the backpack in for repair because the shoulder strap attachment points have failed, both at the top and the bottom. As part of the repair, additional reinforcements will be sewn in to prevent the attachments from tearing again.

This is not what I would expect from a backpack in this price range, especially when the product is marketed as being of high quality.

This bag is well-made and loaded with external and internal compartments/pockets for storage. The leather is of very good quality. The weight is manageable. However, I would make only one change to the design, and that is to replace the leather loop handle with rigid straight one; mainly for comfort. The loop handle soon becomes uncomfortable when the bag is weighted with contents.

Vackraste ryggsäck jag sett. Så fint äkta läder. Måste kanske köpa en till mej själv så småningom - men vill nog ha en mindre då. Supersnabb leverans. Hederligt företag.
